VIDEO: Panicked Weatherman Flees Tornado
Monday 05-20-2013 12:48pm ET

Here's something you don't see on the local news everyday: With the National Weather Service reporting a "large, violent and extremely dangerous" tornado moving through Wichita Sunday afternoon, the forecaster at KSN-TV tried to stay on air. But as the camera rolled and concern grew, he sought shelter in the basement, leaving the weather map behind.

VIDEO: Stupid Facebook Posts Get People Fired
Friday 05-17-2013 5:49am ET

If you're a teacher, and want to keep your job, don't insult your students on Facebook. If your boss is a Jewish community leader, and you want to keep your job, don't post photos on Facebook of yourself covered in swastikas. And if you're anyone who wants to keep your job, don't go on Facebook and insult a police officer.

A waitress at an Oklahoma City Chili's made that error, when she posted a photo of three Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies on her Facebook page along with the comment: "Stupid Cops better hope I'm not their server FDP." (A handy abbreviation for F*** Da Police.)

The woman, Ashley Warden, might have had reason to hold a grudge against her local police force. Last year she made national news when her potty-training toddler pulled down his pants in his grandmother's front yard, and a passing officer handed Warden a public urination ticket for $2,500. (The police chief later apologized and dropped the charges, while the ticketing officer was fired.)

Warden's Facebook post quickly went viral on law enforcement sites, reported Oklahoma City TV station KWTV, and Chili's was barraged with calls demanding that she be fired. Chili's agreed. "With the changing world of digital and social media, Chili's has Social Media Guidelines in place, asking our team members to always be respectful of our guests and to use proper judgement when discussing actions in the work place ...," the restaurant chain said in a statement. "After looking into the matter, we have taken action to prevent this from happening again."

VIDEO: Lingerie Football League Booty Dance
Thursday 05-16-2013 7:26am ET

The Lingerie Football League changed its name to the "Legends Football League" this season . . . which makes no sense at all.

Anyway, a video from a game earlier this month between the Los Angeles Temptation and Seattle Mist is making the rounds online . . . because of a funny celebration one of the L.A. players did.

After making a tackle, she promptly stood up and started shaking her backside . . . a.k.a., "twerking" . . . all while she was still straddling the HEAD of the girl she tackled.

VIDEO: Drunk Man Vs. Elephant
Wednesday 05-15-2013 1:15pm ET

A South African safari firm said Tuesday they had sacked a guide who caused an Internet storm when video of him drunkenly charging an elephant went viral.

The Singita Game Reserve said the man, initially thought to be a tourist, was in fact an off-duty field guide and was "no longer employed by the reserve."

VIDEO: Woman Kicked Off Plane For Singing Whitney Houston
Tuesday 05-14-2013 12:36pm ET

As far as people freaking out on airplanes goes, this one's pretty solid.

Over the weekend, on an American Airlines flight from LAX in Los Angeles to JFK in New York, a female passenger apparently decided it was time to pay her respects to WHITNEY HOUSTON.  RIP, Whitney.

So the woman started BELTING OUT Whitney songs.  The flight attendants asked her to stop, but she kept going.  Then they TOLD her to stop.  But she kept singing.

So the pilot ended up DIVERTING the flight and making an emergency landing in Kansas City . . . where the woman was arrested.

Another passenger took a video of two cops escorting the woman off the plane . . . while she sings an off-key but heartfelt version of "I Will Always Love You".

Meanwhile, as she's being escorted off, the flight attendants are trying to tell people NOT to take pictures.  Yeah, right.

The woman ended up being released without charges . . . but long after the flight was already on its way to New York.  She blamed the incident on her diabetes, and the cops accepted that.  She took another flight the rest of the way.

VIDEO: 7 Month Old Baby Water Skis
Tuesday 05-07-2013 2:46pm ET

Here's a question you'll immediately have an answer for:  Is a 7-month-old baby too young to waterski?  But apparently the correct answer is NO, because there's a video of a 7-month-old in Queensland, Australia doing it.

It's not as crazy as it sounds though, because he's strapped into the skis.  And he's being pulled by a person who's running through shallow water, not being pulled by a boat.  Still, some people are upset about it.
