Live At 5?

For the next few days, with Wease on vacation, we'll be starting live on the air at 5am with guest host Bob Lonsberry, who will be steering the show until 8:30am when he has to leave for his own show on WHAM 1180.  The last time Bob hosted the show was when Wease was having a heart operation.  When he hears that Lonsberry is back Wease may have another heart attack.

Reality TV

We start by talking about para athlete Oscar Pistorius, and how he's gone from Olympic hero to murderous psychopath.  As far as we know he's never won a race, thus making him the Danica Patrick of Olympic athletes.

We also discuss our favorite reality shows, with Bob telling us about his guilty pleasure "Double Divas", about 2 busty women that own a lingerie shop.

We also discuss Pauly's plan to run a 5 mile race on the 4th of July because his girlfriend Ryann wants to help him get healthier.  Pauly's has started training and hopefully by the time his summer race rolls around he'll be able to reach his 5 mile goal.  Pauly's other goal is to try every combination of pizza Salvatore's makes.

Bob also asks Pauly about his family, and Pauly plays tape of his dad watching a baseball game on TV and doing play by play as he watches the game, with Pauly doing color commentating.  Bob is charmed by this, and asks Pauly to see if his father will come in from Ohio sometime this week to cohost, since Chuck Guglielmo is also a broadcaster of sorts... hosting a public access TV show.

Speaking of broadcasters we also talk about Wease, and how real a person he is... the same conversational, engaging, entertaining storyteller off the air that he is on.

WWFD

There is a report that donations to the West Webster Fire Department after the Christmas Eve tragedy have reached over $500,000.  Bob wonders about the accounting of the money, and hopes it is going to the appropriate places, such as the families of the firemen killed.  Maybe there should be seperate funds for the various charities associated.

Bob says this week he's making people's dreams come true.  First he wants Pauly's amateur broadcaster father to join us as a cohost.... now he tells us about how much he enjoyed the music show Wease and Billy used to do, and talks to Billy about how much fun he had doing it.... Bob proposes Billy use the 5am hour the next few days to ressurect the music show.  We'll see how that goes.  Brooksie's dream is to be in management, so we don't know if Lonsberry can help with that.

Naked, sweating and extremely violent, Luke Bentley causes over $4000 damage to the apartment

Palmyra Village Police received a report at 10: 15 a. m. on Tuesday ( 2/ 12) of a man who had gone berserk in the Towpath apartment he resides in with his mother.

When Sergeant Jim Showman and Chief Dave Dalton
arrived on the scene, Luke Bentley, age 35, had barricaded the door with a bookcase. After police pushed their way in, Bentley fled to his bedroom and barricaded that door. Police described Bentley as naked, paranoid and sweating heavily, signs that he may have been on bath salts.

Bentley “ ran out of the bedroom like a banshee” said Showman. Direct hits with a taser failed to slow the man, wellknown to police. It took several minutes and more taser shots to finally subdue the unemployed Bentley. He allegedly struck Sergeant Showman in the head during the melee.

Bentley’s mother was home with her son when the tirade began. Scissors were found sticking out of the wall, furniture was tipped over and demolished. “He
trashed the place”, said Showman. It was estimated he did over $4000 in damage to the apartment.

Bentley denied being on bath salts and said he had done some marijuana, but police are skeptical due to the signs of his condition.

Bentley was charged with Assault in the 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Obstruction of Governmental Administration and Criminal Mischief. He was arraigned and remanded to jail on No Bail.

More charges are pending.

Relationships/Minimum Wage

We start by discussing the punishment of the man that murdered Alex Cogut at Brockport College, which segues to Bob and Pauly talking about parents meeting their children's boyfriends and girlfriends... or in Pauly's case, becoming part of Ryann's family.

From there we go to a discussion of minimum wage, and the proposed increase.  Pauly talks about being a server at Red Lobster in the past, and stories of times he didn't get tipped, and how hard people that make minimum wage work.

Producers Podcast Goes Live

Thanks to Wease, who loves his crew, and management for trusting them.... Pauly, Billy and Brooksie take over the show for the next 90 minutes.

Axccording to "AmericaNow.com" there is a simple way to improve your romantic relationship... when you kiss each other do it for six seconds.

Nothing expresses true love in the movies quite like a dreamy kissing scene. Hollywood filmmakers have a real talent for capturing the "perfect kiss" on film; the kind of kiss that not only enchants movie audiences in the moment, but is remembered forever. But our communications coach, Marcia Brandwynne, notes that the kiss is often underrated in real-life romance.

"How memorable are your kisses? When you kiss your husband or wife goodbye in the morning, do you just peck them on the cheek or brush their lips and say, 'See ya later?' If so, you're missing a real opportunity to enhance and strengthen your relationship," says Coach Marcia.

It's easy for a good marriage to turn into a mediocre marriage if you begin taking each other for granted.

But, believe it or not, you can prevent that from happening in only12 seconds a day: Just six seconds in the morning and six seconds at night.

"Before you leave the house, stop, look and kiss," Coach Marcia advises. "Kiss your partner on the lips for six seconds. That's the magic number, because six seconds is long enough for you to forget about the busy day ahead and actually notice and connect with them."

And when you come home -- do it again! Make it a ritual. Spend six seconds kissing the lips of the person you live with … the person you love … the person you want to be happy with forever. Let the thoughts of the day fade away.

"Try it! You'll like it. Chances are your partner will, too," Coach Marcia adds.

The romance experts known as Pauly, Billy and Brooksie thinks this seems long, especially if you're saying goodbye or hello in public.... reminds us of that controversial Super Bowl ad with the nerd and the model.
