EJ The DJ/12-12-12 Concert
Jamie is illin' today, so thanks to EJ the DJ for coming in early after being up late last night hosting a club night for sister station for KISS 106.7 FM.

We start with our thoughts on last night's huge 12-12-12 concert. The Geezers (Wease and Billy) both listened to some of it on 95.1 The Brew, and watched a bunch on TV. They loved the classic rock acts killing it, disappointed that the Stones only did 2 tunes, and appalled by Kanye West's performance. The one classic rocker the mature guys in the studio didn't dig was Roger Waters, but Wease and Billy never liked Pink Floyd to begin with. Unfortunately that was the one part Pauly saw, so still thinks old music is boring.
Tools With Sports
- Abby Wambach scored twice to lead US to victory against China.
- Jim Kelly says the Bills aren't going anywhere. He doesn't mean they aren't making the playoffs... he means they won't be relocating. This leads to a discussion of teams that have left, like the Browns leaving for Baltimore.
Did you see the real fight that broke out during a staged fight between two mascots during a high school basketball game?
Homeless John/Boobs and Drugs
Wease never learns his lesson about inviting odd people up to the studio. This morning he invited our old buddy "Homeless John" up. John had been up all night, said he had a cold (which we're thrilled he shared with us), and was looking for a job because he lost his job cooking at a restaurant I hope I haven't been to while he was employed there. He's looking for a new job, and who wouldn't want to hire this winner...
You can't see it in this pic, but is there a rule that says homeless people can't tie their shoes?
We move on to a story about a woman busted with cocaine in her fake boobs, which leads to a discussion of drug smuggling, and the method where you swallow balloons of coke, and poop them out later.... eeeewwwww.
Pat Hannigan
Pat Hannigan is the goalie for Rochester's indoor soccer team The Lancers. A great guy from Philadelphia who bonds with Wease over all things Philly, where Wease spent many of his post Viet Nam years. The chat about everything Philly, from the accent to sports to neighborhoods they both frequent. See Pat play this Saturday at 1pm vs. Wichita at the Blue Cross Arena.

12-12-12 Revisited
Many thoughts from the Wease crew and the listeners about last night's epic 12-12-12 concert. The general concensus is that Kanye West sucked, and that even people that like him didn't dig his show last night. Everyone we talked to had a different favorite... McCartney, The Stones, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and many others all rocked. See highlights, and comments HERE.
While speaking of The Rolling Stones a listener called in about a corporate gig for Pepsi he was at in which the Stones played, and Mick had the line of the night... "Keith, think of all the years we've been doing coke, and now we're working for Pepsi". Mick also had a couple funny quips lat night, calling the concert the "World's largest gathering of old English musicians", and making the audience promise that they'll donate if it ever rains in London.
Did we mention Kanye sucked? A listener tells a story that happen about a year ago that we somehow missed... Kanye tossed out the first 5 rows of an audience after having a temper tantrum on stage.
Paul Morrissey
Paul is a very funny dude that you may have seen on The Craig Ferguson Show. He and Wease bond over the fact that despite being young Paul loves documentaries, and the same music as Brother Wease. The spend some time talking about The Last Waltz, Gimme Shelter, and other excellent music movies.
He was also a Div.1 college basketball player that hoped to be in the NBA someday. Just two problems with that... he's white and short. He was offered a gig with the Washington Generals (the team the Globetrotters beat up on) and realizes now he should've taken it.
Craigs List Gamer
Hey videogame nerds, here's a job posting on the Rochester Craigslist. Think you got game? Go for it. Pauly and Emily are both curious who'd want to be Kirby?
Geezers Vs Douchebags
With Jamie out today our buddy Street Willie Walker served as host for Geezers vs. Douchebags..
These are the questions the Dbags asked the Geezers today
- KANYE WEST IS IN THE NEWS TODAY BECAUSE HE STUNK UP LAST NIGHT’S 12-12-12 CONCERT. WHICH OF THE FOLLOWING ARTISTS HAS KANYE WEST NEVER HAD A MAJOR HIT WITH.. NE-YO, RIHANNA, BRUNO MARS, OR JAY-Z? (A- BRUNO MARS.. )... Wease got it right
- WHAT IS JENNIFER LAWRENCE’S CHARACTERS NAME IN THE HUNGER GAMES? (A- KATNISS EVERDEEN.. )... Billy knew this one
- MANY WEBSITES ARE USED ON TWITTER TO SHORTEN URLs. CAN YOU NAME 2? (A- TINYURL, BIT.LY, OW.LY.. )... Billy also got this one
Geezers go 3 for 3
Here are the question The Geezers asked Pauly and Brooksie...
- Pauly, Billy and Brooksie record a Producer's Podcast everyday found on the audio at Wease.com and use the Benny Hill music as a theme song. Describe The Benny Hill Show. A slapstick sketch show featuring scantily clad women. Pauly was clothes with the slapstick part, which I think is worth 1/2 a point.
- Who are the actors that played Jake and Elwood Blues.. The Blues Brothers. The dbags teamed up and knew John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd
- What occupation did Hermie the elf want to be instead of a toymaker in "Rudolph The Rednosed Reindeer"? Pauly and Brooksie both knew he wanted to be a dentist, but Wease didn't, and sounded exactly like the grumpy elf when he yelled with surprise "A DENTIST???!!!"

Geezers win 3-2 and a half (and arguably 3-3). Wease gives both contestants a prize being in the holiday mood.
Salvation Army
Wease talks about going Cristmas shopping last night and wondering about the Salvation Army bell ringers, and one in particular that looked miserable and grumpy as he solicited change from shoppers. Why would he be grumpy if he was volunteering? Maybe he was serving community service. Maybe his wife stuck him with the gig because Women's Is Crazy. After doing some research Pauly learns an interesting tidbit about the Salvation Army... they're a church with an anti-gay stance. We don't like them anymore (even though their stores have some really cheap stuff).
Catwoman's P****

Anne Hathaway has spoken out about the paparazzi shots of her private parts that surfaced after the Les Miz premiere, and she's not happy, calling it an invasion of privacy. Wease defends the photographer, saying she was a public figure and should maybe invest in a pair of underwear. This also led to a discussion of the dude that filmed Erin Andrews through a hotel peephole, and how that happened.
and thanks to caller Amy who turned us onto the song "Never Wear Panties To A Party" ...
Tomorrow/Plugs
Go see Paul Morrisey at The Comedy Club, and check out the Lancers at The Blue Cross Arena on Sat. Tomorrow we'll have Miss NY in, more with Paul, and EJ filling in for Jamie, and movie talk with Marshall Fine. It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice.
