The Fix Is In/Alicia Silverstone
Wease almost bet on the San Francisco Giants last night but decided against it at the last second.. and then they went on to crush the Cardinals in Game 7 of the NLCS and advance to The World Series to face The Detroit Tigers. While that was happening.. so was Monday Night Football with the Bears and the Lions. The spread on the game was 6.5 points and it looked like the Bears SHOULD have covered easy.. but they didn't. Despite dominating the game they only won 13-7 and thus not covering. We had a caller who had $ on the game claim the fix was in. Before we talk about the proposal for the new Bills stadium.. we wanted to talk about Alicia Silverstone.. who you may remember as Cher from "Clueless". She's endorsing a line of environmentally-friendly vibrating love toys. They're made without harmful chemicals, they have rechargeable batteries and even the packaging is recycled. New Bills Stadium?
Today.. a plan will be presented to the Common Council that proposes a 72,000-seat, retractable-roof stadium, which can double as a convention center, as the centerpiece of a $1.4 billion project on outer harbor land owned by the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority. Wease says that it'll never happen.. there's no way they're going to put a billion dollar project in a city that can't attract crap to begin with and on top of that.. is constantly the subject of rumors that the Bills are going to be moving to Toronto or L.A or wherever. Wease says that the only way it COULD work would be if they managed to hold other events but what could they do other than MAYBE concerts.. and how many stadium concerts come around? One or two a year? Never happen.. that's Wease's prediction.

-State Police received a call from two men, Ernie Montebella and Brian Odie, who stopped to investigate a vehicle parked in the middle of Route 350 in Macedon on Saturday (10/13) at 2:41 a.m. When police arrived, they found the driver behind the wheel of the running car, with her foot on the brake and a cell phone in her hand. Attempts to wake the female driver proved fruitless and police smashed the passenger window to gain entrance. Once inside the trooper slid over, put a foot on the brake, put the car in neutral before turning it off. With the aid of Montebella and Odie, the trooper got the woman out of the car. The driver, Danielle L. Shrom, age 20, of Macedon was subsequently arrested for DWI/ BAC with a blood alcohol level of .17%, No Seat Belt, Parked on Pavement and a Cell Phone/While Driving violation. -The Wayne County Office of the Sheriff reported the arrest on Thursday (10/11) at 5:22 p.m. of Anthony P. Albert, age 56, of Lyons following an investigation into an assault that occurred on Thursday, September 20th on Old Lyons Road in the Town of Lyons. Albert was charged with Assault in the Third Degree. It is alleged that Albert struck a 24 year old Arcadia man in the head with a bamboo stick causing bleeding and swelling. Here's his mugshot:
-State Police in Williamson reported the arrest on Tuesday (10/16) of David Kords, age 56, of Marion for Forcible Touching. It is alleged Kords touched the breasts of a former female employee at American Pool Supply in Walworth. According to police, the incident was witnessed by another female employee. -State Police in Williamson reported the arrest on Wednesday (10/17) of John H. Collins, age 59, of Marion after he allegedly threatened his male roommate with a kitchen knife during an argument. Collins was charged with Menacing in the 2nd Degree, arraigned before Marion Justice Sam Bonefede and released with a Court Order of Protection for the victim. Here's his mugshot:
Lance Armstrong
It hasn't been a good week for Lance Armstrong.. and it all came down to yesterday when he was banned from cycling for life and had all of his winning races taken out of the record books. So from 1999-2005 the Tour de France official record will read that there was no winner. Come to find out.. many of the cyclists who came in 2nd place and beyond have also been busted for doping in the past few years. Wease says that while he understands that it's technically cheating.. it's NOT cheating if EVERYONE is doing it because then it's just an even playing field. The one thing that you have to give him is that he bounced back from cancer and turned himself into a machine. Actually, you can't give him that because he did leave Sheryl Crow when SHE was diagnosed with cancer.. so that kinda cancels the other thing out.

Bank Robber In Syracuse Goes Back To Complain
Going back to a bank you just ripped off to claim you'd been shortchanged isn't likely to end well. That's what police say led to an arrest Monday in Syracuse. Police say 28-year-old Arthur Bundrage went into a bank at about 9 a.m. and demanded $20,000. Authorities say a teller initially refused, but relented and gave him some money, even though he never showed a weapon or made a threat. Investigators say Bundrage left but returned when he found he hadn't been given $20,000. Officers say they found him at the bank's locked front door, trying to get back in. Hacked Road Sign In Greece
At first, we thought it was some kind of hoax.. but workers at the construction site near the newly-opened 390 ramp on West Ridge Road confirmed that the electronic sign had been hacked. It happened late night Sunday/Monday morning. The sign was eventually turned off. Whoever did this, knew what they were doing. The NYSDOT said these signs have passcodes and are padlocked. They aren't easy to hack. We think it's pretty hilarious and love that they put something innocent like "Zombies Ahead" on the sign instead of something obscene that would have caused a big hoopla. Should We Interview Pauly Shore?
Last week, while Wease was on vacation, we were offered an interview with Pauly Shore. Anyone who is a fan of our show knows that the last time Wease interviewed Pauly Shore.. it was a tremendous trainwreck. When we were offered the interview.. Pauly (our Pauly.. producer Pauly) thought that it would be at the absolute least.. very amusing.. to hear Wease and Pauly together again. Wease hmm'd and haww'd and took a few calls from listeners suggesting that we do it and eventually decided that he would go ahead and take the call from Pauly.
Pauly Shore calls in
So Pauly called in and Wease gave him the courtesy of allowing him to promote the special.. "Pauly-Tics" which is on Showtime this Saturday and available at www.PaulyShore.com on election day (11/6). Then Wease brought up the incident of what happened last time. Pauly was proactive on the subject.. apologizing to Wease for what happened last time. Pauly was VERY normal with us on the phone today.. a completely turnaround from what he acted like when he was in studio with us earlier this year where he was in his "Weasel" character the entire time. The cheating set led to Wease saying that he wishes women could understand how.. from a man's perspective.. getting a knob job is NOTHING. A man can.. without doubt.. get a knob job from a strange woman and not connect any emotion to it whatsoever. Wease recounted how back in the old days.. it was rare that you found a woman who gave knob. There were even some men who didn't want knob from the ol' ladies because "she kisses my kids with that mouth". Nowadays.. it seems like EVERY WOMAN gives knob. He asked Pauly and Pauly said that he hasn't come across any girl who won't do it.. but did have a girl once who considered it to be more sacred than sex. We wondered if there are women in the younger generation who won't knob? If so.. we feel bad for the men who are stuck with them. Ladies.. our advice.. knob.
