Happy Anniversary Wease & Doreen!!
Today is the 15th anniversary of Brother Wease and Doreen's wedding!! He isn't sure what to get her.. and asked our advice. We looked it up and found online that the traditional gift is diamonds and the modern gift is a watch. The two are going to Aruba tomorrow morning (Wease will be out next week) to celebrate. Doreen sent Wease in with an envelope full of pictures from their wedding day. Here's one:

..here the picture that was in The Democrat & Chronicle:

Pauly Comes In 2nd At Rib Eating Contest
Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of the opening of Sticky Lips Juke Joint on Jefferson Road in Henrietta and in honor of that.. they held a rib eating contest and we sent a few contestants. Pauly, Billy, Brooksie, and JP Hastings all went out to display their speed eating skills:

..in the end it was Pauly who came in 2nd place (1st went to a guy from WXXI):

Here's Pauly's victory speech...
Caught Red-Handed

We discuss the story of a Rochester bank robber caught "redhanded" when a citizen spotted a suspicious man near the Cadillac Hotel with red dye on his hands from the dye packs banks use on money. This raised the question of where did the term "caught redhanded" come from. Is it from the dye packs, or does the term predate it? It could go back to the times where thieves had their hands cut off as punishment for the crime.
Tools With Sports
Fatigue is a factor for John today... he stayed up past midnight to see the O's beat the Yankees 2-1 in 13 innings, and he isn't happy about it. The series is tied 2 games apiece with the deciding game tonight at 5pm.
The salary of A-Rod, who is in a major slump, is brought up. A half million a week just seems to be too much for anybody.
In Thurs. night NFL the Tenn. Titans upset the Pitt. Steelers 26-23 with a walkoff FG.
The Bills are 5 pt. underdogs this Sunday. Wease is betting the Bills, and Tools strongly disagrees.
Big locally is R.I.T beating #3 ranked Michigan in college hockey. Down 3-0 early R.I.T fought back for a 5-4 victory.
Rolling Stones/Justin Bieber
THE ROLLING STONES released a NEW single yesterday called "Doom and Gloom". It's the first of two new songs that will appear on a greatest hits box set called "GRRR!" that comes out next month.
Today's guest cohost Emily brought up the alleged Justin Bieber nude photo's that have hit the internet, and how anxious she was to see what he was packing (she's a fan). Are celebrity nude pics better than regular hot people? Why?

- Brizard Out Of Job In Chicago
Wease and Doug also discuss last night's Vice Presidential Debate, and the impression that Biden was more in control. Pauly didn't like that Biden seemed to be condescending.

Comedian Rich Vos in studio
Comedian Rich Vos joins us... he and Wease discuss their time MCing Woodstock and music in general. This leads to the Steven Tyler interview from yesterday where he made negative comments about KISS. This warmed the cockles of Wease's heart, or maybe the heartles of Wease's co... never mind.
National Coming Out Day
Wease tells the story of a Christian man that used to be homophobic, but befriended a lesbian, and then decided to try and live as a gay man for a year, and wrote a book about his experiences. It was released yesterday on "National Coming Out Day", entitled "The Cross In The Closet".
Going To The Dogs
The "Today" show did a segment yesterday about a pet adoption app called Pics For Pets, so they had a bunch of puppies on set.
--And KATHIE LEE GIFFORD accidentally dropped one on its HEAD. You could hear the crew laughing when it happened. Luckily, the puppy was fine.
One last dog story, out of Buffalo...
A pit bull named Gotti is on the road to recovery after being dragged for several blocks in Buffalo, NY over the weekend. The pained pup has road rash, leg injuries and his pads have been all but scraped off. Daniel Delaney, the dog’s owner, tearfully told police that he forgot Gotti was tied to the back of his SUV when he drove away from a store.
“We’re told he was highly remorseful, but as the owner, it was his responsibility to remember his dog. It doesn’t help the dog that he forgot,” explained Barbara Carr, executive director of the SPCA Serving Erie County. “The dog’s paws were pretty badly damaged. It’s going to take a long time for the pads on the paws to grow back; weeks, if not months.”
Around 11 am Saturday, a person saw Gotti cabled to the back of Delaney’s departing vehicle.
“K-9 Officer Bud Rodriguez happened to be on patrol in the area and was flagged down by the witness,” Central District Police Chief Brian K. Patterson said. “Rodriguez then pulled the SUV over on the first block of Arkansas Street and called in district officers.”
Officers William Drabik and Patrick Murtha assisted Rodriguez in arresting Delaney on the charge of aggravated animal cruelty. Delaney is licking his own wounds as he remains in custody at the Erie County Holding Center until Thursday, when he is next scheduled to appear in court.
Police say Delaney seemed repentant, but it will be up to a judge for Gotti to be returned to him. Medical expenses may cost thousands of dollars, and Carr said the SPCA is looking to obtain a bond to make sure Delaney pays for his dog’s treatment. If he does not post the bond, he may lose custody.
“On Monday for several hours, we had a veterinarian and two veterinarian technicians working on the dog, and it appeared he would not need surgery, though one foot is particularly swollen,” Carr said. “We also had our chief animal cruelty investigator taking photographs of the injuries.”
Gotti has been a fighter throughout his ordeal. He is wearing special bandages on his paws that will help promote the regeneration of his pads. He is already lifting himself up and trying to stand on his own four feet again.
Sounds a lot like the scene from "National Lampoon's Vacation" with Chevy Chase.
Hello Dolly
We get a call from a nut lady named Dolly who needs to talk to Wease about many things... heart surgery, incest, banging horses, a friend of Wease's who used to be her bro-in-law, the time she talked to him 20 years ago, and other stuff. Hard to describe what was said, but these are the callers that make shows unique and hilarious.
Nashville
Wease missed a TV show he was really interested in seeing, 'Nashville", and needed a couple reviews from listeners. Positive comments from all. Holy God, Hayden Panettiere is hot.
Plugs/Tomorrow's Show
See Rich Vos at the Comedy Club this weekend, Wease will be at the Ver Hultz Haunted Hayride tonight in Spencerport, Go Bills. Join us next week for fun and frivolity, and go listen to The Producer's Podcast with Pauly, Billy, and Brooksie. It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice.
