I was born and raised in Holley, NY (A small redneck village in Orleans County). I graduated from The College at Brockport with a degree in Broadcast Communications in May 2010.
As a kid growing up, there were two things I always wanted to do - play professional baseball and work in radio. After being able to do both my freshman year of college, I decided that RADIO was my #1 dream. I said goodbye to baseball and hello to the airwaves - Good decision? You betcha!
I got my first start in radio as a DJ and Sports Director at my college station WBSU 89.1 the Point. I was all about sports radio back then and produced a weekly sports show where I got to co-host, book guests, and make the show sound pretty.
In 2008, I interned with the one and only John DiTullio on our sister station 1280 WHTK.
In March of 2010, I became the voice you hear when you call 222-9500 on The Wease Show. Now for many of you, Brother Wease has been a part of your morning routine for more than 20 years. As a 22 year-old, I have spent the last 20 years trying to learn how to tie my shoes, learn to read, drive a car, and earn a college degree.
Now, though, I can say I have the best job in radio - Working for the Wease. Every day is an adventure in the studio, so get ready to laugh and if you wet your pants, we'll understand!
If you haven't seen it yet, a cheerleader at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi made the coolest half court shot EVER on Thursday night. She shot the ball while simultaneously doing a forward HAND-SPRING. (--Which everyone online is calling a "front flip.")
--Then one of the Harlem Globetrotters happened to be in town the next day, and asked her to show HIM how to do it. And she made the shot AGAIN.
